About IBQA-USA
IBQA-USA (International Board for Qualifications & Assessment) provides private quality-assurance, institutional quality assessment, affiliation, programme review, research and doctoral-programme review, qualification assessment, certification, verification, membership and related services within defined written scopes.
Independent private status
Unless a separate official authority is expressly identified in writing, IBQA-USA services are not governmental accreditation, statutory recognition, professional licensure, immigration assessment, degree-awarding authority or a substitute for approval required by a government, regulator, licensing body, university authority or professional body.
Applications and decisions
Applications are subject to scope confirmation, eligibility, evidence requirements, applicable service conditions, review and a formal written decision. Submission of an application, payment of a fee or communication with IBQA-USA does not guarantee approval, recognition, certification, affiliation, membership or any other outcome.
Service-specific terms, fees and refunds
The applicable application form, quotation, invoice, service agreement, approval record or other written service document may contain additional requirements concerning scope, fees, payment, review, validity, surveillance, renewal, suspension, withdrawal, cancellation, appeal or refund. Where such a written document applies, its service-specific terms control that service.
Research, doctoral and programme scope
Recognition or review of a research, doctoral, course or programme scope is an independent review of the institution and evidence identified in the written decision. It does not authorise an institution to award a degree, validate an individual degree, guarantee credit transfer, create governmental equivalence or replace any degree-awarding authority required by law.
Honorary recognition
Any honorary award or social-impact recognition offered through an authorised IBQA-USA service is honorary in nature unless explicitly stated otherwise by a legally authorised degree-awarding institution. It is not an earned academic PhD, is not equivalent to completion of doctoral coursework or research, and must not be represented as a government-recognised academic qualification.
ISO certification distinction
ISO develops and publishes International Standards but does not itself certify organisations or issue management-system certificates. Any certification service must identify the applicable standard and edition, the organisation, sites and activities within scope, the validity and status of the certification, and the responsible certification arrangement. No statement should imply endorsement or certification by ISO itself.
Use of IBQA-USA name, logo and claims
No person or organisation may use the IBQA-USA name, logo, certificate design, approval language, verification mark or other protected material except within current written permission. Approved users must remain within the stated scope, territory, validity and conditions and must not make misleading claims of governmental, statutory, regulatory, university, professional or third-party recognition.
Certificates, records and verification
A certificate, approval, affiliation, membership or other record is valid only within its stated scope, conditions and validity period. Public verification reflects the record held by IBQA-USA at the time of the search. Altered documents, inconsistent details or use outside the authorised scope may be referred to IBQA-USA for review and may result in correction, suspension, withdrawal or other appropriate action.
Third-party acceptance
Employers, educational institutions, universities, licensing bodies, regulators, governments, immigration authorities and other third parties make their own recognition, equivalence, admission, licensing, employment and acceptance decisions. IBQA-USA does not guarantee that any third party will accept an assessment, approval, certificate, membership, affiliation or recognition.

Website information is provided in good faith for general information and may be corrected, revised, replaced or withdrawn. Formal written service agreements, current policies, approval records and official verification records take precedence over general website descriptions where there is any inconsistency. Nothing on this website constitutes legal, immigration, tax, licensing or professional advice.

Limitation of responsibility

Nothing in these terms excludes responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded.

These Terms & Disclaimer may be updated when services, policies, operational practices or legal requirements change. The current version and effective date will be published on this page.

Service-specific contracts, quotations, invoices, approval conditions and other written agreements may contain additional provisions, including governing law, dispute procedures, fees, refunds, appeals and service conditions. Those written provisions apply to the relevant service and should be read together with these website terms.
